Finally, there is an app for Scouts offering safety while having fun adventure. Now parents can send their scout on hiking and camping trips and have peace of mind that they are safe out there while scouts are having fun on the hike. Scouts can see their hike buddies on the hike in near real time on iPhone as well as at home on browser.

GeoScout is a simple and safe way to share scouts location with folks at home as well as the scoutmaster while on a hike and communicate with each other via built-in texting all in near real time.

GeoScout is a subscription service designed for those scouts that are registered with their respective Council / District / Troop. This registration can be done on the GeoScout web site: www.lbssystems.net/geoscout for $5.99 per year. Scouts under 13 will need their parents permission to register. All scouts will also need their respective scoutmasters permission to activate the use of the service.
